Angel and the Badman

A John Wayne remake, Angel and the Badman tells the story of a notorious gunfighter, Quirt Evans, (Lou Diamond Phillips) who is wounded and seeks shelter with a Quaker family. Attracted to the family's beautiful, loving, and widowed daughter, Temperance, (Debra Kara Unger), the hard-bitten gunfighter is transformed from a man with a history of violence into a man of peace. Unfortunately, however, the leader of the outlaws, Loredo (Luke Perry), won't let his past die. In the end, the Sheriff is the one to save his life from the local outlaws. A western with heart and humor as well as romance and some good, old-fashioned gun play.
