Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: To ingest Alien vs. Predator on its own slimy, divertingly synthetic terms, it helps to forget everything previously known -- and loved -- about the franchise monster aliens who get star billing. – Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly, Sep 7, 2011

Rotten: The movie had an opportunity to raise some broader philosophical questions about the nature of evil. Does it coil deep within us or come at us with a retractable spear? Anyway, it passed on that. – Carina Chocano, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The Aliens are looking a little dogged, perhaps ready for the Alien Retirement Home. Meanwhile, the Predator warriors, who never achieved the artistic heights of their counterpart, look better invisible. – Kirk Honeycutt, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Perfunctory battle sequences, cardboard characters, and uncreative scare 'ems. – Ed Halter, Village Voice, Aug 18, 2004

Awesome movie!

Some missed things...

It's kind of strange movie... I like the idea of Predators as the Race of Gods, but I hate that they skipped the whole Xenomorph lifecycle. And well... Human to became honored by Predators? That's not what I knew about this race.

It was not that bad of a movie in all honesty. Not the best but it had decent acting and really cool action scenes. Kinda up to you to know whether you want to see this movie or not.
