About the Movie

In this outrageous comedy from the writers of The Hangover, Amy (Mila Kunis) has a seemingly perfect life - a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she's over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she's about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms (Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn) on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) and her clique of devoted perfect moms (Jada Pinkett Smith and Annie Mumolo). See the movie that critics are cheering as "…a funny, giddy, sentimental laugh-in…" - Manohla Dargis, The New York Times.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: What makes "Bad Moms" funny (aside from its lineup of gifted performers) isn't that Amy and her friends go wild; they don't, not even close. It's the women's shared, near-orgiastic pleasure in their freedom and friendship. – Manohla Dargis, New York Times, Jul 28, 2016

Fresh: The movie cops out by going soft in the end, but it's still hardcore hilarity for stressed moms looking for a girls night out. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Jul 29, 2016

Rotten: Bad Moms had so many opportunities to be great, edgy and insightful, but instead settles for the most milquetoast commentary possible on modern motherhood. – Lindsey Bahr, Associated Press, Jul 28, 2016

Rotten: With its bland blasts of chart pop, it's less riot-grrrl provocation than sporadically rowdy coffee morning. – Mike McCahill, Guardian, Aug 25, 2016
