Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: A funny, scary send-up of filmmakers.
Fresh: Keep your eyes open, and there are lots of other, subtler things going on.
Fresh: The movie's cheap, it's clever -- it's even a little scary in places.
Rotten: He [baghead] is obviously simply a device to make the movie long enough to qualify as a feature, and the denouement will be one of stunning underwhelmingness.
I loved the movie. It had a comedy/horror kind of theme. The acting was good, and the plot was amazing. I would have never thought that the ending would end up like that. (You need to watch to see). The movie has okay quality but it looks as if it was filmed under cheap budget. Overall its a great movie to watch, and worth my money! A++
better than hollywood
yeah, im also really not sure if this should be in a comedy genre. nevertheless, i found the acting better than the big shot celebrities in hollywood because it had a reality to it. i wish films like this would become the standard because they are raw and filling but im sure when exposed to the greasiness that is mainstream cinema and art, these films would become just as dry and soulless as the rest of hollywood. i felt like i knew the characters well and the plot was great, as well as the ending. there was humor, love, personality, shame, fear and longing expressed in this film and i thought it really captured life and people as they truly are. never saw the puffy chair but im definitely going to order it on amazon. this is a must see for anyone who likes indie films or films that are not quite the norm.
I wouldn't say this movies is worth $15. It was average at best. It's one of those movies where you keep waiting for a great twist in the plot to come at the end but it never does...just leaves you cold.
