About the Movie
From director Zack Snyder comes "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," starring Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters' first big-screen pairing. Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: It is without question an important film today, and a quintessential product of the America we inhabit.
Rotten: A ponderous, smothering, over-pixelated zeppelin crash of a movie scored by a choir that sounds like it's being drowned in lava.
Rotten: It's freighted not so much with entertainment value as it is with enough talk of fallen gods, absent parents, and dissolute heroes to fuel a Greek tragedy. And ... director Zack Snyder seems convinced that that's what he's making.
Rotten: When in doubt, [Snyder] simply slings another ingredient into the mix, be it an irradiated monster, an explosion on government premises, or the sharp smack of masonry on skull.
Decide for yourself
This movie is definitely a mixed bag, and it's really just up to you to decide how good it is.
Don't listen to the critics. They're nuts.
This was an awesome movie!!!
Good movie, but a lot of problems
Unlike many people, I enjoyed Batman v. Superman. I even thought it had a few strengths over Civil War (even though Civil War is the better movie). However there were some problems about the movie. I collected a list of pros, cons, and things I found a little strange about the movie.
Ben Affleck as Batman (best Batman ever in my opinion)
Jeremy Irons as Alfred (best Alfred ever)
Every scene with Batman
The conversations between Bruce and Alfred
The Warehouse scene
Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman (best Wonder Woman)
Some Easter eggs
Desert dream sequence
Not enough Superman
To much characters and plots jammed into the movie
Too much dream sequences with no explanation
Doomsday was rushed and didn't need to be in the movie
The Martha scene (cringe worthy)
The Justice League tie in
The trinity Vs Doomsday CGI light show fight scene
Killing Superman off with not enough character development for him
Jessie Eisenburg as Lex Luthor
Reasons why the two heroes are fighting
The complete dark and joyless tone
Too many movie tie ins
In conclusion, I give BvS a solid B+. It was a good movie and is worthy of watching it repeatedly but, there were a lot problems about it. Hopefully the Ultimate Cut will fix those problems or Suicide Squad won't be as panned as this movie was critics and fans. Other that, I recommend checking this movie out.
