Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The Rock is fun to watch, for a while at least. The rest is one big fat wallow in instant stupid. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, May 26, 2017

Rotten: Teeters between absurdity and earnestness. – Craig D. Lindsey, Village Voice, May 31, 2017

Rotten: Not even Zac Efron's abs can distract us from the fact that we are treading in shallow, shallow waters. – Tufayel Ahmed, Newsweek, May 26, 2017

Rotten: Unlike the setup, the story founders and cramps like a tourist who swam too soon after an all-you-can-eat buffet, which is pretty much the only thing the filmmakers don't toss into the water by film's end. – Bob Mondello, NPR, May 26, 2017

Decent Comedy

Not a masterpiece but its good to watch like if you are hanging out with your friends while getting drunk on Friday night.

Just bad. Fluctuates between cringeworthy and mindless. I lost a few brain cells in the process. This no cut on the actors, who tried their best to keep this turkey afloat. Hopefully Hollywood will change raunchy comedy plots and subplots after this. And those 5 star reviews sure look like the same writer.

Not as funny as expected
