About the Movie

An apocalyptic love story, “Bellflower” is explosive and visually stunning. While Woodrow and Aiden prepare for the apocalypse by building flamethrowers and fire breathing Mad Max-inspired muscle cars, Woodrow falls hard for a femme fatale who's more dangerous than any end of days.

Fresh: Bellflower is stylishly watchable - even when it's preposterous. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Aug 3, 2011

Fresh: Evan Glodell's explosive debut feature is a thing of toxic beauty. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Aug 4, 2011

Rotten: After a while, "Bellflower" feels like it can't stop checking itself out in the mirror. It's a pose, not a movie. – Michael O'Sullivan, Washington Post, Sep 9, 2011

Great Movie

This is a one of a kind movie. It's great. Don't watch the trailer, let the whole thing be a dark surprise. I got to meet the director and he seemed like a really nice guy, plus he actually drove his flame-throwing car to the movie screening!

Gotta Love It When the Geek Triumphs

This flick is AWESOME. Visually stunning and well written with a cast that is believable. Saw this at Fantastic Fest in 2010 and have waiting impatiently for it ever since. Exquisite film making from top to bottom.

Wait it out

I rented this movie tonight and watched it. I was absolutely blown away. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen. The problem is that most of the music is missing from the iTunes version of the film. Not sure what happened, but from what I was told, it had a full soundtrack in theaters, and on the iTunes version there was just silence where those songs should be. I'm still giving it 5 stars, as it was still an incredible film, but maybe wait until this is fixed to rent it. But Jesus, what a powerful film.
