About the Movie

Reuniting Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore and director Frank Coraci — the trifecta behind New Line Cinema's game-changing romantic comedy The Wedding Singer — this modern-day family comedy follows two single parents, Jim and Lauren (Sandler & Barrymore) who, after a disastrous blind date, can agree on only one thing: never to see each other again. They soon find themselves, however, with their respective kids from previous marriages — on the same family vacation package in South Africa. Despite all their efforts to resist, an attraction grows between the two, blending their two families into one... with hilarious results. Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Terry Crews, Community's Joel McHale, Saturday Night Live's Kevin Nealon and Bridesmaids' Wendi McLendon-Covey are also on board to join the fun.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Most of "Blended" has the look and pacing of a three-camera sitcom filmed by a bunch of eighth graders and conceived by their less bright classmates. – A.O. Scott, New York Times, May 22, 2014

Rotten: The romance is sweet and even effervescent, the comedy is homespun and sentimental, but it's packaged with such a repellent batch of stereotypes and prejudices that it's unpalatable even to contemplate. – Richard Brody, New Yorker, May 24, 2014

Rotten: What's missing from Blended? Two key ingredients: it doesn't touch the heart and it doesn't tickle the funny bone (at least not often enough). – James Berardinelli, ReelViews, May 26, 2014

Rotten: Blended throws a lot of things on the screen, but in the end, it has to confront its awkward and artificial "romance." And that's just ugly. – David Hiltbrand, Philadelphia Inquirer, May 23, 2014

Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are perfect together

This is drew and Adam's third movie together and it feels as if they were never apart. they're chemistry is amazing on screen
now wen it comes to the movie. I loved it!
The only flaw this movie has was drew's son. he was an awful actor and every scene with him was corny and akward I ended up haing him
but apart from all the akwardness the movie brings I love this movie and I can't wait to own it

The Critics Are Wrong

The critics are dead wrong about this one. Maybe it's not the greatest film ever made, so what. It was funny, touching and real. There are plenty of innuendos and some topics that might be too much for younger kids. But our teenage son enjoyed it! So all in all, Blended is a very entertaining movie to watch. I will be buying this one when it is released.

Don't Listen to the Tomatoes!!

Excellent chemistry between Adam and Drew, as always! Great story, and great supporting cast. Many laugh out loud moments. I can't wait for the movie to be available to download. Enjoy!!
