Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Uninvolving and cliche-ridden (even shape-shifters, it seems, deserve a falling-in-love montage), Blood & Chocolate is Romeo and Juliet with fewer manners and more exotic dentition. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Rotten: Moments of inspiration vie in vain with Goth cliche. – Scott Brown, Entertainment Weekly, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: Based on a popular teen novel by Annette Curtis Klause, Blood and Chocolate revises classic werewolf legend and effectively neuters it in the process. – Peter Debruge, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: There isn't enough absinthe in all of Romania to obliterate the taste of this clunker. – Lael Loewenstein, Los Angeles Times, Sep 20, 2007

Great movie

Awesome plot, acting, and action Only problem is that iTunes put it as Horror...its definatly NOT horror but still a great film

Love this Movie

Absolutely love this movie - the setting, the music, the plot and the acting. Romania is a perfect setting for the movie with its mysterious and ancient culture. Makes you wish it were true.

OK and nothing else

I read the book before it was even thought of as a movie and this is nothing like the book. I know that there are parts in the book that they can't put in the movie but still all of the people i have not read the book miss out on the most important part which i am not going to say that way you guys can read it yourselves and understand what i mean but overall it was ok but nothing more then that.
