About the Movie

Body Bags is an anthology horror film made up of three stories bookended by a creepy morgue assistant played by John Carpenter himself. The first story, "The Gas Station", features Robert Carradine as a serial killer, with cameos by Sam Raimi and Wes Craven. "Hair" follows Stacy Keach as he receives a botched hair transplant that infests him with an alien parasite, and "Eye" is another transplant story, this time featuring Mark Hamill as a baseball player who loses an eye in a car accident and receives a transplant, only to be overtaken with the personality of the eye's previous owner: a murderous misogynist.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: None of the three playlets breaks barriers, and the writing's perfunctory, but the productions are good, the casting interesting. – Tony Scott, Variety, Mar 14, 2018

Immortal horror anthology!

A phenomenal classic that delivers on multiple dimensions of sought after entertainment fulfillment. One of John Carpenters most addicting and rewarding works!

I can't believe I hadn't seen this movie in the 90's! it is EXCELLENT! it's got the exact right amount of campiness and cheesy gore. In the story with Stacy Keach and his hair the music that was playing the entire time was amazing. It made me smile so much. It took me back to an era of filmmaking that I miss so much.
