About the Movie

In 1974, a misguided 19 year old named Michael Peterson decided he wanted to make a name for himself and so, with a homemade sawn-off shotgun and a head full of dreams he attempted to rob a post office. Swiftly apprehended and originally sentenced to 7 years in jail, Peterson has subsequently been behind bars for 34 years, 30 of which have been spent in solitary confinement. With an intelligent, provocative and stylized approach, "Bronson" (based on a true story) follows the metamorphosis of Mickey Peterson into Britain's most violent prisoner, Charles Bronson.

Absolutely brilliant.

An incredible film, an incredible soundtrack- highly underrated. i'd go as far as to call it one of the most interesting/entertaining films I've seen in the last decade. Artistically, its practically a masterpiece. Bronson's life is hardly an intricately woven tale- I thought the film does a great job spicing it up. It explores the idea of one man's violence as his alter-ego, which I thought was incredibly (and absurdly) profound. And to Mr. "annoying opera music" below- are you joking? What should it have had, britney spears songs? It has classical pieces interwoven throughout that make it aesthetically very pleasing. One critic called this "A Clockwork Orange for the 21st Century". I cannot improve on that.

Insanely Great Film

Tom Hardy delivers an incredible performance. Surprised that I hadn't heard more about this movie but was pleasantly surprised. I want to be Charlie Bronson for damn sure when I grow up.

Awesome Movie

This movie was well thought out. It was strategically plotted thrughout the movie. I reccommend watching it unbiased.
