About the Movie

Three all-new cartoons from animation legend Chuck Jones showcase Bugs Bunny and some of Jones' most famous characters. Springtime has arrived and stirred the birds, the bees and some of Bugs' childhood memories -- the time when an infant Elmer Fudd chased a youthful Bugs with his popgun, waiting for the start of "wabbit season" (in "Portrait of the Artist as a Young Bunny"); when Bugs was held captive by Marvin Martian (in "Spaced Out Bunny"); and when, after 30 years of chases, Wile E. Coyote finally caught the Road Runner (in "Soup or Sonic").

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Most of the film, which begins with a portentous opening that parodies "Star Wars" and "Superman," is very funny... – Tom Buckley, New York Times, Mar 22, 2011

Fresh: This modest retrospective provides a fine occasion to salute an American original working in a medium that will never get its critical due, but continues to exercise a mighty claim on affectionate memory. – Richard Schickel, TIME Magazine, Mar 22, 2011

Fresh: It crams in all of the best Bugs and Daffy Duck cartoons from the post-war period, plus a dizzying 15-minute compilation of Roadrunner sketches. – Tom Huddleston, Time Out, Mar 22, 2011

Its a very good special but is only 20 minutes long! It should cost about $3 to buy, not just rent!
