Five college friends head off to the woods for a weekend of drinking, partying and fooling around. But as they sit at their campfire the first night, a blood-soaked hermit approaches them. He appears to have been infected with a flesh-eating bacterial virus, and as the hapless kids start to catch the bug, paranoia and hostility run rampant.

Rotten: Cabin Fever starts small, and stays small, never reaching the transcendent Blair Witch heights of the biggest low-budget successes.
Fresh: Other than a few witty jokes and a game cast, there's nothing particularly special here. Still, the nods to masters like Wes Craven and George Romero -- along with buckets of blood -- ought to thrill horror fans.
Fresh: A clever and bloody romp over the turf of friendship and fear.
Fresh: Taken on its own repellently coarse and shocking B-movie terms, it's every bit as infectious in its way as the gross-out virus it depicts.
sick (sick as in sweet, or cool)
This movie was very horrifing. Not the fact that is was scary, but the fact it was gory...and the dogs eating the humans freaked me out...and when the girl was still alive...but her lips were gone. *shakes* I recommend this to any horror fan. =).
