Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: It captures the awkwardness, loneliness and unacknowledged desperation that haunt us all but that are particularly poignant when seen among attractive 30-somethings. – Anita Gates, New York Times, May 3, 2013

Fresh: Displaying nerves of steel and a generous heart, helmer Adam Christian Clark takes a lot of chances with Caroline and Jackie. – John Anderson, Variety, Apr 23, 2012

Fresh: Much of the truth is conveyed in the two leads' performances, both of them itchy and disagreeable in the manner of someone trying to prevent a too-familiar conflict from bubbling up again. – John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter, May 3, 2013

Rotten: Before long, the film spills over into a ... somewhat questionable ... portrait of one hysterical woman. – Andrew Schenker, Time Out, Apr 30, 2013

loved this movie!

It was very beautifully made, great acting. The storyline was pretty complex, not hard to follow but there were so many twists and turns, by the end you had no idea what was going to happen! I was yelling out the whole time! I guess I'm a vocal moviegoer. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Brilliant and Beautiful!

This emotionally provocative plot is compelling, raw, and rings desperately true.

A TALE OF TWO SISTERS.. AMAZING MOVIE

this is such a phenomenal movie, that I have been recommending it to all my friends. I think it's one of the most original and brilliantly directed indie movies Ive seen in a long time. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who appreciates filmmaking.
