Rachel Hilson (The Good Wife) plays Cassandra, the headstrong teen next door with a passion for photography that draws her into the world of the reclusive artist. Their relationship leads to other revelations about Cass' father, played by James McDaniel (Orange is the New Black, NYPD Blue) that threaten the entire family.“Cass” explores issues of race, economics, and art, featuring The City of Detroit as another character in the drama. Customer Reviews

A must see!

Will not disappoint!

Great film!

One of the best films I've seen in a while! Great storyline! Highly recommend!

Beautiful and Surprising

CASS took me by surprise. It is a kind of urban fairytale, set in Detroit. Rachel Hilson and David Dastmalchian are particularly good, with real on-screen chemistry. (The scene at the Diego Rivera mural was especially beautiful.) I'm definitely going to watch this again.
