About the Movie
The story follows a one-time bullied geek who grew up to be a lethal CIA agent (Dwayne Johnson), coming home for his high school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, he enlists the help of the former "big man on campus" (Kevin Hart), now an accountant who misses his glory days. But before the staid numbers cruncher realizes what he's getting into, it's too late to get out, as his increasingly unpredictable new friend drags him through a world of shootouts, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than he can count.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: No one can steal the show from Johnson and Hart. Their dual rhythms, alternately laid back and hyperactive, end up in a glorious and ridiculous kind of syncopation, unicornlike in its rarity and oddness.
Fresh: Central Intelligence won't blow you out of the theater, but you might be surprised at how well it works - how genuinely funny it is - given the familiarity of this concept.
Fresh: The window-smashing and car-crashing offer some giddy surprises, but the ridiculous yet bland gunplay is as generic as the setup.
Rotten: With its canned, predictable action sequences and mirthless attempts at humor, it displays an ineptitude that is frankly shocking considering the talent involved.
Funniest Movie of the Summer!
I loved this movie, and went to see this more than once! It hilarious, it's crazy & everything you'd expect from The Rock & Kevin Hart. The perfect comedy duo. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a review first before watching. YES GO WATCH IT, BUY IT NOW. Laugh & thank me later.
Not worth purchase
This movie was just okay. Yes, I laughed at times. But from what commercials depicted, I was definitely disappointed in my amount of chuckles. I would recommend only rented this movie. Kevin Hart is funny as always. The Rock, well I have never seen him in this light and frankly, I don't like it. The movie seems foolish, empty and bland. Just left me with a bad taste in my mouth after watching.
Don't get me wrong I love the rock and Kevin Hart, but this wasn't climactic at all. It only got interesting towards the very end, and it was hard to find myself laughing during this movie.
