Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: This feature, spun off from the PBS series, will provide preschoolers with comfort and amusement, though not rapture or enchantment. – A.O. Scott, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Fresh: Though not exactly a gripping experience for adults, parents have reason to be grateful for a movie that has been so carefully tailored to preschool to first-grade sensibilities. – Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Belies its name with its formulaic storytelling and lackluster animation. – Frank Scheck, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: When clapping broke out close to the end of Clifford's Really Big Movie -- the clapping of little hands, I might add, and not big ones -- it felt as spontaneous and as heartfelt an expression of youthful joy as I have heard in a long time. – Michael O'Sullivan, Washington Post, Jul 16, 2008
