come back to me is my request

if you are fighting, stop fighting
if you are marching, stop marching
come back to me
come back to me is my request

Nicole Kidman's best role, and also wonderful acting from Jude Law. truly a lovely film from every angle: acting, directing, and cinematography. not a word for word adaptation of the book but where it embellishes it does so with grace and a restrained style befitting the author. ex: the paraphrased lines from a letter above. If you liked The English Patient and In The Bedroom, this film has similar style and pacing.
