Out of this World

This movie was suprizingly fantastic. I thought this would be just another alien movie but it has a lot of great morals and points that will keep you pondering for the rest of the week. Great movie and well worth the money. Matthew M. and J. Foster were fantastic together and the acting was amazing in every scene...the end was breathtaking and thought provoking and even though the begining was slow at points it kept me interested ever time I started to slouch in my seat...

Intelligent and watchable.

You'll likely enjoy this movie if any of the following describes you: -- You enjoy thinking about the concept of extraterrestrial life. -- You're an amateur astronomer or just really enjoy gazing at the stars. -- You enjoy intelligent dialogue. -- You like to see a strong female protagonist. -- You have an interest in philosophical/moral issues. Now, that may sound dry and boring to some, but the movie takes the points above and somehow creates a surprisingly suspenseful, beautifully photographed, and well-acted film. I'd venture to say that the CGI graphics of outer space are reason enough to watch this -- absolutely brilliant. I've seen this movie more than twenty times and out of the 500+ movies that I own, it's one that I keep on the top shelf. It's perfect for someone like me: intelligent, a bit nerdy, and in awe of our Universe. I hope you like it too! :)

Amazing Movie........

Truth is I grew up down the street from the Director before he went to Hollywood. I love his work.
