Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Lasse Hallstrom directs with a softness that makes even combat look tranquil.
Rotten: Indecently exploits 9/11 and throws in autism and canver for unscrupulous measure.
Rotten: What starts as a charming anachronism %u2014 pens, paper and the postal service in an impersonal digital age %u2014 becomes tedious as Hallstrom is reduced to interminable, repetitive montages covering the many months that the pair are apart.
Rotten: There is not much point throwing Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried into a movie together if they can't devote every waking minute to making out.
A teer-jerking love story...
A great movie! No need to read the book, the ending is 10 times better in he moveie :)
not so good!
when i first heard that this novel will be a movie i was very excited to watch it, the first part was very exciting, quite humorous, and u can feel that the lovers are in love. on the climax i was lost on what is really going on, i also find channing tatum annoying bec. of how he eats the words that he's saying. this story is way better in book, for me, nothing beats "a walk to remember and the notebook still on film.
