About the Movie

From best-selling author and filmmaker Peter Navarro comes Death by China, a documentary feature confronting the most urgent problem facing America - its increasingly destructive trade relationship with a rapidly rising China. Since the United States fully opened its markets to China in 2001, over 50,000 American factories have disappeared, more than 25 million Americans can’t find a decent job, and America now owes over 3 trillion dollars to the world’s largest totalitarian nation. Through compelling interviews with voices across the political spectrum, Death by China exposes just how badly the U.S.-China relationship is broken and why fixing that destructive relationship is critical both to restoring American prosperity and ensuring a peaceful future.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: It is ... unabashedly one-sided and is short on solutions, other than the usual "Call your Congressional representatives." – Neil Genzlinger, New York Times, Aug 23, 2012

Rotten: Doc offers plenty of good reasons to worry about China, but is astonishingly heavy-handed. – John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter, Aug 16, 2012

Rotten: The bulk of the film contains as much hysterical rhetoric as sober analysis. – Andrew Schenker, Village Voice, Aug 14, 2012

Rotten: It would make a nice TV infomercial, but certainly doesn't deserve a big-screen release. – V.A. Musetto, New York Post, Aug 24, 2012

Eye-opening!

Great Documentary that explores the increasingly divisive relationship between the US and China. I'm convinced to buy American!

Felt Pain in Heart

One intention of help and goodwill of a country destroyed own economy, it should change china and instead of opposite. Don’t suicide US; don’t give your sole to them. Don’t be bankrupt by feeding the World; US doing a biggest self-sacrifice by doing this unknowingly.
