Plot Summary

Director Bob Misiorowski helmed this straight-to-video actioner starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Van Damme plays Jacques Kristoff, a special government agent assigned to protect Dr. Galina Konstantin, a scientist played by Laura Elena Harring (Mulholland Drive). When a group of terrorists hijack the train they're riding and demand to see Konstantin, it's up to Kristoff to defeat the bad guys before they get their hands on the biological weapons the doctor has with him. Also starring Tomas Arana and Susan Gibney, Derailed was released in Europe under the title Terror Train.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: [Derailed has] a ludicrous script whose twists and turns are laughably obvious or just plain laughable. – Ruthe Stein, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Like a runaway train, the movie hurtles over the tracks so fast, you can barely keep up with the incongruities. – Jack Mathews, New York Daily News, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Someone had to work extra hard to make a movie this bad with two likeable leads like Mr. Owen and Ms. Aniston. I can't figure out why. – Andrew Sarris, New York Observer, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Derailed is a choo-choo bound for oblivion - - and making no stops for plausibility along the way. – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Jun 24, 2010

we need old karate movies from van damme

itunes please, your giving all the wrong movies from van damme you guys really need to put up the older movies that van damme made which were actually worth watching and were really really good. his famous for Martial arts movies like BLOODSPORT, THE QUEST, KICKBOXER, LIONHEART, and even, DOUBLE IMPACT. i been checkin to see if you guys had put up some good movies from van damme for like everyday for the past month and nothing. soo please take those titles that i named out in consideration and put them up!! thank you

Where's the Van Damage?

Typical Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Not that different. Not that interesting. But if you have an hour and a half alone with nothing to do and are stuck with your laptop, it's okay. Don't expect anything interesting or exciting. All it does is pass the time. But it doesn't do a bad job at passing the time unless you have something better to watch.

JCVD's worst ever

This movie wasn't thought about until after 9/11 happenned so van damme tried to make a terrorist movie thinking people wanted a movie like that but was rushed with a low budget making the action stunt scenes look really fake. Of your looking for a terrorist action flick I recommend "under siege 1 and 2" the die "die hard triologies" or the other JCVD terrorist Box Office Hit, "Sudden Death" which is 10x better than derailed. This movie is only for the die hard JCVD fans
