About the Movie
In this 2017 Sundance and IDA award-winning film, Dina, an eccentric and outspoken 49-year-old in suburban Philadelphia, invites her fiancé Scott, a Walmart door greeter, to move in with her. Having grown up neurologically diverse in a world blind to the value of their experience, the two are head-over-heels for one another, but shacking up poses a new challenge.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: They are a sweet couple whom you want to root for, and their conditions and circumstances have imbued them with personalities that some might perceive as quirky.
Fresh: The rapport between the filmmakers and their principal characters is so comfortable, it occasionally feels as if we are watching a scripted film .
Fresh: From the mundane to the eventful, the movie takes a fairly unflinching, yet respectful view of Dina and Scott's world, which includes family, friends, hobbies, home life, trips, rituals and old Top 40 songs.
Fresh: Dina is a story about resilience and a woman's indomitable will to seek out her best life.

I went to watch this film during a premiere night and did I love it! Worth buying now that it’s out. In this film, you’ll encounter different perspectives of life and different ways of living it; you’ll find that love can empower and be defined in many ways; and you’ll learn about things that you thought you already knew or had seen. Must watch!
