About the Movie
From Disneynature, the studio that brought you Earth and Chimpanzee, comes Bears - an epic story of breathtaking scale. Showcasing a year in the life of a bear family, mother Sky teaches her two impressionable cubs, Amber and Scout about life’s most important lessons. Set against a majestic Alaskan backdrop, their journey begins as winter ends. Emerging from hibernation, the three face the bitter cold and an exciting but very risky outside world. Astonishing footage captures the fast-moving action and suspense of an endearing family learning to live life to its fullest in one of the planet’s last great wildernesses.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Despite the bracing beauty of the wilderness, and the respite provided by cubs at play, the movie is primarily a sobering treatise on survival.
Fresh: If the sight of bear cubs prancing through wildflowers doesn't make you smile, then you probably won't like the new Disneynature documentary Bears. You also probably aren't human.
Fresh: An enjoyable and visually stunning romp through the scenic Alaskan wilderness with a small family of bears.
Fresh: Amid its heaping serving of cuddliness ... the film doesn't sugarcoat the harsh reality and unforgiving elements with which the bears have to contend.
Some very cute parts and stunning cinematography. Though it is startling how inaccurate information was portrayed through the entire film. The irritating part was the mispronunciation of Alaska names. If you are going to use Alaska Native language, respect the language and pronounce it properly.
This is an incredibly intimate documentary that immerses you into this family of bears. A wonderful story with breathtaking cinematography! Everyone of all ages will enjoy this film.
Beautiful, awful dialogue
I was stoked to watch this movie, and in the beginning the voice acting didn't bother me, but it got to be so bad.
Its like when people try to be funny or entertaining by talking for a baby. ugh!
The only upside is that it's John Reilly.
It's unfortunately just as bad as the one about Flowers with Meryl Streep.
I wish I could get a refund.
