About the Movie
Jack Durant approaches his restaurant early one morning. It's just another day at the famous steakhouse: corrupt politicians finish deals over lunch, an investigative journalist is assassinated and the hit may have been planned in Durant's, alcoholics and rowdy cowboys need wrangling, and Jack's one true love walks back into his life. The ghosts of the past and present have come to haunt Jack. Is this just another day at the restaurant or the one that will forever change Jack Durant?

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Jack Durant was, by all accounts, a larger-than-life personality, someone who would make a fascinating subject for a really good movie. "Durant's Never Closes" isn't it, alas.
This movie is laugh out loud funny along with serious. The main character Tom has an ability to capture your attention and engage the audience. The producers and directors are extremely talented which makes this a must see. If you want to know what it's like to live the dangerous lifestyle of a mob/ mafia this movie depicts just that.
Great Indie film!
Director Travis Mills built a strong story around the infamous Jack Durant, owner/operator of his famous eatery in Phoenix, Arizona––Durant's.The restaurant has continued after Durant's passing and leaving it to his dog in his will. Durant's explosive nature was legendary. His public and personal relationships existed daily at the end of Durant's short fuse. Most believed he had ties to organized crime. The essence of Jack Durant was superbly captured and performed by Tom Sizemore and was drawn out and captured on film by director Mills. Durant's Never Closes is an Indie film, made by Indie filmmakers who put their hearts and souls into giving you a great, entertaining film. Highly recommended.
