About the Movie
This independent action & adventure film was filmed for the incredible low budget of $100,000! When our freedom was in question, America needed an answer. In the early morning hours of 9/11 an elite CIA team known as Echelon 3 was denied access to Logan airport by the FBI, preventing them from acting on the intelligence that could have stopped the terrorist attacks. In the aftermath of the tragedy, the Echelon 3 team undeservingly took the fall and was quickly dismantled. Ten years later, with terrorist activities on the rise, a congressional shadow government committee known only as the Keepers, is re-instating the new and improved top secret unit now known as Echelon 8. The team is granted unprecedented approval of domestic charter allowing them to monitor U.S. communications and take every action necessary to protect the United States from the next terrorist attack. Can Echelon 8 prevent history form repeating itself or will the team suffer the same fate of its predecessor?
For $100,000 budget, it exceeds most multi-million dollar films!
I couldn't believe when I read the budget for "Echelon 8" was under $100,000. It looks better than most million dollar films out there today. Pretty good acting, excellent quality, great action (loved the explosions), car chases. If you like "24", you'll love this. How did they do all this at that budget? There's a lesson in this Hollywood... stop wasting money on garbage and learn from what independents are doing. Great job and enjoyed the film. Very relevant to what's happening in todays world.

All in all a good movie taking into account they had a small budget and no big stars. Better than expected.
Excellent Independent Film - Impressive
I was blown away from this film especially when I read it was made for under $100,000. Excellent quality and decent acting from all involved. This rivaled a lot of big budget features which lack good story telling and drama. Throw in some cool chase scenes and explosions and you've got a real impressive piece of work for such a small budget. Well done to the Echelon 8 team.
