About the Movie

Henry Petosa and Freddy Ace are twins who were separated as babies, and do not know each other as adults. An honest man adopted Henry, while Freddy becomes a gangster. Henry is very shy and has a lot of mental troubles. The film melts the two stories by a young writer who discovers that they were sons of a European noble and they own a large inheritance.

Equinox

This is a little known gem written and directed by Robert Altman protege, Alan Rudolph. In it you will find a young and talented Marisa Tomei and a gorgeous performance by Lara Flynn Boyle. Matthew Modine was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award, as was Ms. Boyle, Alan Rudolph, and the film. The trailer, or I should say clips that are shown on this site do NOT represent the film. At all. The film is magical.

Fantastic

Modine, Tomei, and Boyle do very well. Somewhere between noir and drama this movie plays out. Twins separated at birth. One, Charlie Ace, working his way up the mafia ladder. The other, Henry is introverted and quiet as a mouse with occasional flights of fancy a la Walter Mitty. The writer researching their stories inadvertently brings them together in a tragic way. Top notch work.
