Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: A bearable if unremarkable composite of the "Taken" movies and "Three Days of the Condor."
Rotten: Eckhart and Liberato may not act as if they're in Retread-land - Olga Kurylenko, meanwhile, as a CIA handler, barely acts at all - but this "Erased" is eminently forgettable.
Rotten: A thriller whose storytelling ingredients are so familiar that one could watch it with the sound off and still know what's going on.
Rotten: Most people can only watch the same movie so many times. But Philipp Stolzl is clearly hopeful that when you're done with "Taken" (and "Taken 2"), you'll want more of the same.
This is a terrific movie! It felt like a foreign movie not your typical American thriller, which I think it is. Watch this movie if you into to action and a good story, it also has some terrific acting. I was on the edge of my seat!
Worthy genre movie
It stands on its own as a daughter-daddy buddy movie. The daughter wasn't the stereotypical whiny annoying character. I wish the fights & other action scenes were better choreographed.
It wasn't Bourne, but neither was it Taken 2. It was a good movie, just not great. Will definitely be worth renting after the theatrical run.
Poor dialogue, over-acting, and a well worn plot line combine to make this a very disappointing film. By the end of the movie, we were laughing at how bad it was.
Even if this were free, I would not recommend it. I can't believe that they charged $10.00 for this one.
