Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: "Exodus" is ludicrous only by accident, which isn't much fun and is the surest sign of what we might call a New Testament sensibility at work. But the movie isn't successfully serious, either. – A.O. Scott, New York Times, Dec 11, 2014

Rotten: Crowd-wowing CGI spectacle and the inevitable if inconsequential 3-D effects make Exodus look like pure product, without any defining vision. – Mark Jenkins, NPR, Dec 12, 2014

Rotten: "Exodus: Gods and Kings" does a fair job of giving us what might be called The Second-Greatest Story Ever Told. What it never convinces us of is why. – Ty Burr, Boston Globe, Dec 11, 2014

Rotten: An utterly clueless, relentlessly grim and rambling action epic guaranteed to displease devout Jews, Christians and Muslims alike, amuse atheists - and generally bore everyone. – Lou Lumenick, New York Post, Dec 11, 2014

Tired of Hollywood trampling on the Word of God

Terrible. This movie takes so much liberty with the biblical story that you can hardly tell it's the story from the Bible. If you're a Christian who has a high regard for God's Word then do not see this movie, you'll leave angry because of the movie's complete mishandling of the story.

Bad Movie

nothing to do with the bible, the preview looks good but the movie it’s bad. Don’t wast your time and money.

For u people who hate this movie so much

This movie may not be completely real but to be fair u guys I am a Christian to and I don't see so insulting they did their best at the movie company to make this realistic and have sales I if I was a movie director I would not like this movie to completely realistic because if u wanted a realistic movie there would be no sales this movie is great and if u don't agree so be it the name of the movie is also very suiting because the Exodus is about gods and kings this movie is awesome I rate it 5 stars I loved this movie
