About the Movie

From the director of The Bourne Identity comes this riveting thriller inspired by the experiences of real-life CIA officer Valerie Plame (Academy Award® nominee** Naomi Watts). When Plame's retired ambassador husband Joe Wilson (Academy Award® winner** Sean Penn) writes a newspaper article challenging the basis for the U.S. war on Iraq, the White House leaks Plame's undercover status—leaving her international contacts vulnerable, her career in shambles and her life in danger. Crackling with sharp dialogue, gripping intrigue and heart-pounding suspense, Fair Game is the adventure that's so unbelievable, it can only be real.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: This isn't a message movie, per se, but a strong point of view comes through regardless: In the battle of principles vs. politics, politics always win. – Peter Howell, Toronto Star, Aug 10, 2011

Fresh: Although the outline of this story is well known, Fair Game gives it dramatic shape and teases out the moral problems raised. – Philip French, Guardian, Mar 14, 2011

Fresh: The script, based on memoirs of their experience by Wilson and Plame, has two stories to tell -- the run-up to Iraq, and the portrait of a marriage under fire -- and combines them very adroitly. – Anthony Quinn, Independent (UK), Aug 10, 2011

Rotten: It is complacent and fatuous in a way that only a preeningly well-intentioned Hollywood drama can be. – Peter Bradshaw, Guardian, Mar 10, 2011

I thought it was good...

I give it a 3.5\5. It can be a bit boring around the middle, though. If it would have been done with worse actors then this movie would have sucked.

Well worth your time.

Horrible movie

If I could give it 0 stars I would idk what the director was thinking
