About the Movie
“Father Figures” focuses on two brothers (Ed Helms, Owen Wilson) whose eccentric mother (Glenn Close) raised them to believe their father died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out to find their real father, learning more about their mother than they probably ever wanted to know.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Distinguished mainly by its overqualified cast and lack of inspiration, "Father Figures" can't decide whether it's a gross-out comedy or an uplifting tale of brotherly love; it embraces the worst of both worlds.
Rotten: A limply spritzing fountain of unconvincing (and unfunny) tricks out of the how-to-write-a-comedy-hit manual.
Rotten: Who's your daddy? Who cares.
Rotten: Comedian Katt Williams, in a small role as a chipper hitchhiker, injects about 15 minutes worth of fun into Father Figures, an otherwise mostly dreadful road comedy in which Ed Helms and Owen Wilson play twins searching for a man to call dad.
Owen Wilson is hilarious in this movie! “You just emphasized the word serial...”😂 gets me every time. Anyway, this movie is about getting along with your siblings, teamwork, and never giving up. This is the perfect comedy for this holiday season!
This movie is very good.
I have seen Father Figures movie in theaters at Stephenville Texas it was on after Christmas last year. This movie it was very funny and good comedy movie.
Absolutely Horrible, Unfunny Movie
GOD, this movie is terrible! What a waste of money. Two years from now, if you're scrolling through the channels that no one ever watches and you see this is playing on Encore, skip it. There's a reason it's playing on Encore, it's not funny and nobody wants to watch it. This movie tries too hard at shock humor, uses tired jokes about who's the dad and it's 2 hours and 5 minutes too long. I couldn't even sit through it. This movie got a 20% on the Tomatometer. It should have gotten a lower score. I hope everyone involved in this film gets cancer.
