About the Movie
Olivia (Bellisario) and Matthew Grey (Felton) are 18 year-old twins born into a world of privilege and high expectations. There are almost no boundaries between them – even their dreams are connected. Their futures shine bright with Olivia set to be the class valedictorian and Matt the class president. As the twins prepare for their last school year together, an unexpected tragedy splits them apart, leaving the surviving one to learn how to live without their other half – or test how far they are willing to go to bring them back.
I am so proud and happy that Troian is releasing a film about anorexia. I've seen the film and it is phenomenal. The acting, the writing, the production, are all top notch. And the fact that Troian did all three of those. This film is so important because a lot of people, including the media, tend to glamorize or underestimate this mental illness. More people need to speak up about eating disorders and I am so proud that Troian has hopefully started a new movement.
Emotional and Raw
I've seen Troian in another film and some short films and have always been impressed by her acting abilities. Feed took it to a whole new level. Such an emotionally raw film, which made you feel in the moment with Olivia and Matt. Tom did such an amazing job, their dynamic on screen was breathtaking. More amazing that I had ever thought it could be, would highly recommend to anyone.
This film that Troian Bellasario created loosly based on her on experiences is fantastically made and so accurate that it is almost scary. Feed shows the experiences that many young people face everyday, myself included, while battling anorexia and Matt reprosents the voice that we hear in our head that no one else gets. This movie lets people understand what it's like for people who suffer from anorexia. I think would be a great movie to educate youself about anorexia, while also watching something entertaining.
