About the Movie

A ticking-time-bomb insomniac (Edward Norton) and a slippery soap salesman (Brad Pitt) channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Together they create a new "fight club" where young men come to relieve their frustrations by beating each other to a pulp. Their concept catches on, with underground "fight clubs" forming in every town, until a sensuous eccentric (Helena Bonham Carter) gets in the way and ignites an out-of control spiral toward oblivion.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: It is working American Beauty-Susan Faludi territory, that illiberal, impious, inarticulate fringe that threatens the smug American center with an anger that cannot explain itself, can act out its frustrations only in inexplicable violence. – Richard Schickel, TIME Magazine, Apr 22, 2013

Fresh: [A] bold, inventive, sustained adrenaline rush of a movie... – David Rooney, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: An outrageous mixture of brilliant technique, puerile philosophizing, trenchant satire and sensory overload, Fight Club is the most incendiary movie to come out of Hollywood in a long time. It's a mess, but one worth fighting about. – David Ansen, Newsweek, Mar 5, 2018

Rotten: We're meant to take the male bonding and the blood rituals as a protest against the sterility of corporate life and modern design, but Fincher's sadomasochistic kicks overwhelm any possible social critique. – David Denby, New Yorker, Apr 22, 2013

It's about time.

I really like this movie. Thanks for adding it.

you are not a beautiful or unique snowflake

On of my all time favourites. Fight Club brings you on an action packed, psychological journey. The characters are so well developed, and the actors are top notch. Pitt, Norton, and Bonham Carter are perfect in this. I don't know how else to describe this movie except as totally B.A.

I am Jack's perfect movie

This movie is flawless. However, I will feel guilty buying this, because buying a movie on the internet and downloading it onto your ipod goes against pretty much everything this movie tries to teach you. And it is about time itunes got this. Now they just need American Psycho!
