About the Movie
Will Smith stars as Nicky, a seasoned master of misdirection who becomes romantically involved with novice con artist Jess (Margot Robbie). As he's teaching her the tricks of the trade, she gets too close for comfort and he abruptly breaks it off. Three years later, the former flame—now an accomplished femme fatale—shows up in Buenos Aires in the middle of the high stakes racecar circuit. In the midst of Nicky's latest, very dangerous scheme, she throws his plans for a loop…and the consummate con man off his game.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Mostly, it is fun to watch Will Smith and Margot Robbie, and to marvel at whatever divine or evolutionary miracle concentrated so much charisma in the two of them.
Fresh: The mix of longtime star and minx on the rise is one tasty element in the success of a movie that approaches the modest goals and effortless allure of a 60-year-old Hitchcock.
Rotten: That sound you hear is the high-fives in the writers' room, and that, unfortunately, is where the filmmakers' focus remains.
Rotten: It's not that the movie keeps you guessing with its intricacy, it's more like it's making it up as it goes along.
A FUN (YET FORGETTABLE) HEIST FILM
Focus is a fun, exciting and beautifully filmed movie. Will Smith and Margot Robbie are terrific and very like able as the leads. The problem with the movie is that the plot is very thin as well as the characters. However Will Smith and Margot Robbie's personalities and chemistry make up for the flaws and there are also many unpredictable twists that make the movie worth watching. Overall it's in entertaining movie and definitely one of Will Smith's better movies in recent years. Definitely worth renting.
Ohhhhh margot robbie she's hot , in this movie
waste of time… contrived snooze fest
Think of what the most cynically generic formula for what the suits in Hollywood believe will rake in some chick flick cash and you pretty much have the entirety of this one in a nutshell. No plot, no reason, no characters… recycled and phoned in personalities— (be glad you miss this one)
