Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: An altogether leaner, meaner, more high-powered, stylish, and deftly directed affair, though similarly hampered by a too-long narrative fuse. – J. Hoberman, Village Voice, Dec 20, 2011

Fresh: When it comes down to it, this is Rooney Mara's movie, and I don't care if the second and third stories are any good as long as they are full of Lisbeth Salander. – Mark Rabinowitz, CNN.com, Dec 20, 2011

Fresh: I don't think I've seen an actor do more with deadpan expressions than Mara does in this movie. Her face doesn't move but, whether she's tasing a man or standing in front of a mirror watching a cigarette dangle from her mouth, we respond to her. – Wesley Morris, Boston Globe, Dec 20, 2011

Fresh: It's certainly worth seeing if you missed the original. If you saw it, however, there's no way of unseeing it, and nothing in the new one to top it. – Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal, Dec 22, 2011

David Fincher at his best!!!

This movie is amazing in every way from the well written story, great acting, beautiful cinematography, and another briliant score from Trent Reznor. Definitely worth buying even if you haven't already seen it.. You won't be disappointed.

Very Good!

I have read the book, seen the Swedish version and I still really enjoyed Fincher's Dragon. I feel that the original Swedish film was better still, Fincher has done some fine work here. I plan on owning both versions. The Millennium Trilogy is fantastic and this stays true to the feeling of the books. Reznor has crafted an excellent score for this film and coupled with Finchers cinematic talents, this is a win. Highly recommended.

Awesome!!!! Buy it!!!!

I'm only gonna say this once..... David Fincher, Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, buy the movie, you will not be sorry!!!!
