About the Movie
GO FAR: The Christopher Rush Story chronicles the inspirational life of Christopher Rush, a quadriplegic, and national MDA poster child, who lived with muscular dystrophy from birth to death at the age 30, well beyond his predicted two years of life. Chris achieved extraordinary goals despite impossible odds and left behind a philosophy of life for all of us to follow. GO FAR is a motivational film that will teach and inspire not only persons with disabilities, but everyone, to follow their dreams and achieve them, no matter the obstacles. Featuring Tony Orlando, Jerry Lewis, and other celebrities associated with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
I have been following this documentary since its campaign was announced. I greatly believe in and support what the Muscular Dystrophy Association provides to the public,as well as the dedication that it took the producer to commit to the story of Christopher Rush. This is the type of film that inspires to achieve great things and look beyond the weaknesses of others.
Amazing story of amazing people
GO FAR tells a story that will move every viewer, inspire every viewer, and help everyone apply Christopher Rush's GO FAR program to improve their own lives. You take a lot more than good feelings with you at the end of this movie, although you do take and treasure those; you also take a real feeling of determination to set goals and achieve the many things most of us hope to achieve. This movie inspires kids as young as 8 and 9. It inspires grandmothers like me. It will be one of the best investments you will ever make.
Very inspirational and moving. It's important to remember to be thankful for the little things. It's even more important to be reminded to never give up.
