Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Every scare is telegraphed. Every surprise is recycled from a better thriller. Even the devil would send this one back. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Nov 24, 2006

Rotten: After a modestly promising set-up, pic devolves into a stale rehash of cliches and conventions left over from dozens of demon-child thrillers. – Joe Leydon, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: Working from the assumption that nobody remembers grade school science, let alone the last 30 years of horror movies, Nick Hamm's genre mishmash clumsily recasts The Omen as a cautionary tale featuring a human incarnation of Dolly the sheep. – Mark Holcomb, Village Voice, May 5, 2004

Rotten: Godsend goes nowhere and takes the whole cast with it. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

A Thought Provoking Movie

The movie should have benn edited tighter but the premace is amazing. It shows the world all that can go wrong because of cloning. It has some really amazing things and ideas plus the acting is great. But they go overboard with the kid becoming a monster. Still the movie has some truly amazing scenes in it.

Wow... just WOW!!!!

I love Robert DeNiro and think he is one of the best actors of all times. This movie is just another fantastic showcase of his talent and is truely an excitement to watch. I highly reccomend it to anyone who wants a couple chills on their backs and a great movie to watch!

The worst movie with Deniro in it (1.5 mics)

Robert Deniro is one of the best actors of all time, but this movie is horrable it's too bad with horrable acting in it with a bad plot.
