About the Movie

Director Jeff Stilson follows Chris Rock on this raucous adventure prompted by Rock's daughter approaching him and asking, "Daddy, how come I don't have good hair?" An exposé of comic proportions that only Chris Rock could pull off, Good Hair visits beauty salons and hairstyling battles, scientific laboratories and Indian temples to explore the way hairstyles impact the activities, pocketbooks, sexual relationships, and self-esteem of the black community.

didnt see it...

I did not see this yet. Although it doesn't really look like a movie.......
it kind of looks like a television show on bravo.

A very creative, informative, and entertaining documentary covering various aspects of the black hair industry.

I saw this movie because the trailers looked very funny. And alot of it is. But buried deep within the humor are some commentaries on African Americans (particularly woman) and their relationship with their hair that make you stop, and reflect. Recommend it.
