About the Movie

HeartChild is a documentary film about twenty-nine year old Crys Worley, who is the mother of a nine year old autistic child, Sasha. It is a remarkable story about a mother's struggles, not only with her own health, but the well being of her son. Committing to Sasha that she will never give up on him and inspired by the challenges parents of autistic children face, she started a non-profit organization, called A.Skate - Autism. Skating with Kids through Acceptance, Therapy, and Education. This film documents her extraordinary journey.

Customer Reviews

If you have opportunity to watch this movie I highly recommend that you do so!!! A Documentary allows you the opportunity to see things in a real life perspective and this movie does that 100%! Seeing a perspective on someone's life and how making changes brings about awareness- education and acceptance in the Autism community. We love you Crys, Sasha, Fallon and Peter and all of the many many volunteers who make up the Askate family.

Make a difference

Heartchild chronicles Crys and her son Sasha in the creation of A.Skate. As a child and adolescent therapist, I am always looking for activities and organizations to link families to that support well-being. A.Skate is a unique organization that shows the power of skateboarding on children live with autism. Heartchild shows the passion of one mother who has a son living with autism and her efforts to impact the lives of children with autism through skateboarding. Great film. Great cause.

You will love this movie and it's story is perfect. Watch it, buy it, love it, thank me later. WE LOVE YOU MISS CRYS!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR MAKIN A.SKATE POSSIBLE BY BEING AMAZING
