Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: [A] modest, focused directorial debut ... – Nicolas Rapold, New York Times, Feb 12, 2015

Rotten: In the end, the effort of sussing out this satire's attitude seems silly for the fact that its jokes just aren't funny enough. – Rob Nelson, Variety, Oct 5, 2014

Rotten: All the low-hum, behavioral buffoonery gets a bit tedious. – Joe Neumaier, New York Daily News, Feb 11, 2015

Fresh: David Cross, who also wrote the script, is content to come across like a grumpy old man. His comedy is one-note, furious, and fun-enough – Amy Nicholson, L.A. Weekly, Feb 12, 2015

Outstanding

Maybe a meaner film would have scored higher with critics. A don't miss debut for David Cross. A fun finger on the pulse ride. Can't wait to see what he does next.

Indie Film Plays Like a BBuster

Super impressed with Cross' Directorial Debut. Edgy, hysterical, and poignant look at "fame" in America. Cameos are beautifully done. Whole gang is in here.

SO SO RAD

Not sure what the ROTTEN TOMATOES watched but that was a great movie. So funny and impressed-if you like David Cross watch this.
