About the Movie

No Labels, Just Love. An extraordinary and powerful love story, Honeyglue follows Morgan (Adriana Mather) as she flips her safe, protected life upside down. After learning she has three months left to live, Morgan sets out on a bucket list of adventures with a rebellious gender-defying artist Jordan (Zach Villa). Morgan’s family (Christopher Heyerdahl, Jessica Tuck, Booboo Stewart) must choose between accepting their daughter’s fate or keeping her at home, where she’ll be cared for and protected. Meanwhile, Jordan faces his own family issues when Morgan asks to visit his mother (Amanda Plummer), who he hasn't spoken to for over ten years. Honeyglue is a story of strength, courage, and love - an unforgettable adventure of discovering just how precious life is and how three months can be an entire lifetime if you are with the one you love!

Rotten: All in all, it's a mess, but in some weird way, it keeps you watching. – David Lewis, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 9, 2016

Rotten: Sticky with sentimentality. – Soren Anderson, Seattle Times, Jun 16, 2016

Dark romance

This one surprised me, it took what is a timeworn Hollywood convention, the doomed romance, and gave it a modern and genderfluid twist. A few creaky moments, but the charming leads and their chemistry keep you glued to the story. Keep a hanky ready, though.

loved it

beautiful film with a good message. prepare a box of tissues!

How would you spend your final days?

Filled with light humor, music numbers, and breakout performances from up and coming actors. I thought there were a few nice laugh out loud moments and many captivating dramatic ones. The best part is the namesake which is based on one of the character's storybooks, which is an animated allegory for the live action film. Must watch!
