About the Movie

The hilarious Horrible Bosses 2: Extended Cut is filled with even more outrageous jokes not seen in theaters! Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in "Horrible Bosses 2." But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor's adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company in this follow-up to the 2011 hit comedy "Horrible Bosses" that reunites stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis as everyone's favorite working stiffs. Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey also reprise their starring roles, while Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz star as new adversaries standing between the guys and their dreams of success.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: This is the sort of slapdash comedy in which characters get smarter or stupider from one scene to the next, depending on the script demands. – Ben Sachs, Chicago Reader, Nov 26, 2014

Rotten: Director Sean Anders and his three co-writers go out of their way to up the profanity, vulgarity and absurdity of the first film, falling into the classic sequel trap of attempting to dirty-up and double-down on every laugh. – Peter Howell, Toronto Star, Nov 26, 2014

Rotten: The follow-up's improbable story involves kidnapping -- 9 to 5, anyone? -- but the worst ransom will be paid by the bilked popcorn munchers who have to sit through this inane bungle of a budding cinematic franchise. – Brad Wheeler, Globe and Mail, Nov 26, 2014

Rotten: 'Horrible Bosses 2' is so lazy it's not even about horrible bosses. – Richard Roeper, Richard, Dec 14, 2014

Customer Reviews

dumb, dumber, and just plain stupid!

For a movie that has such an all-star cast, it pretty much sucked. A better word would be "irritating," and I am someone that is really easy to please, too. I think with a little Colorado product and the right friends this movie could be fun. However, even after a few beers, I was having trouble watching it to the end. I think that the actors had so much fun making it that they probably forgot about us, the viewers.

Not totally bad

I thought there were a lot of good parts to this movie that a the very least kept my attention to the end... The loudness of the characters tended to be too much, if some of that was taken out, it would have been a better movie..

So so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really love these actors and was hoping for a thoroughly hilarious was funny. I even laughed out loud a few times, but... Heck, I'll give it a four... Not quite deserving of a three (or lower) but not worthy of 5 stars. Everyone's a critic, right!? 😉
