About the Movie
For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grindmore tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option. So, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers...permanently. There's only one problem: even the best-laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them. Jason Bateman (Arrested Development), and Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day (both in Going the Distance) play the three hapless workers, while two-timeOscar® winner Kevin Spacey, and Golden Globe winners Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston are their unbearable bosses. Academy Award® winner Jamie Foxx plays the con, whose street cred is priced on a sliding scale in this workplace comedy directed by Seth Gordon (Four Christmases).

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: A lot of low-stakes humor, occasionally brought off by a mostly ingratiating cast.
Fresh: For something like Horrible Bosses to sparkle, the actors have to shine... and shine they do.
Fresh: Fun, throwaway, unofficial remake of the classic 1980 workplace comedy Nine to Five.
Fresh: Whilst the bosses are unnecessarily over-the-top, the film still manages to work as a light-hearted buddy comedy.
The movie was cutesy but no gut wrenching laughter here. After a while it was more like...annoying.
Bleh..... not too funny
I didn't get the chance to watch this movie in the theaters but I am glad I didn't. The movie wasn't as funny to what I was expecting. I heard a lot of hype about how funny this movie was and didn't get me to laugh as much. I am probably not into hardline humor I guess.
This film is humorous in certain moments, but ultimately vaporizes nearly seconds after the closing scene. It is relaxing, if anything.
