About the Movie
Albert Markovski (Jason Schwartzman), head of the Open Spaces Coalition, has been experiencing an alarming series of coincidences that have lead him to fall under the influence of nihilistic competitor Brad Stand (Jude Law); an executive climbing the corporate ladder at Huckabees - a popular chain of retail superstores. With the help of two Existential Detectives, Bernard and Vivian Jaffe (Dustin Hoffman and Lily Tomlin), Albert examines his life, his relationships, and his conflict with Brad.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: There's ambition here, as well as a shaggy brilliance and a rare willingness on the part of a director to work out his questions in front of us, on film.
Fresh: It is difficult for me to describe how sweet and buoyant I found the film, despite its seemingly excessive stylization.
Rotten: Theirs is too painfully forced, from the movie's thin premise to its ideas about what's funny: Hoffman in a Beatles wig?
Fresh: With razor-sharp performances, zingy one-liners, broad slapstick humor and a message of sorts, there's enough to distract the viewer from becoming hopelessly lost in the lint-filled chaos that is the umbilicus.
Loved this movie. Really loved it. Its the kind of movie to own. And I do not normally think that. You can get things from it again and again. Please make it for sale not rent.

Great movie about life philosophy
I <3 Huckabees is a wonderful, enjoyable movie that explores different takes on life and the universe. From the "everything is connected" theory to "living is pointless", it's all in here wrapped in interesting characters played by great actors who are fun to watch. I recommend this movie to anyone who is interested in life philosophies or fascinating characters.
