Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: One way to end the scourge of "TV is better than film" articles is to stop making movies like "Keeping Up With the Joneses," a pedestrian comedy that almost seems intended as evidence for the cause.
Rotten: As long as there's suburbia, there will always be movies about near-middle-aged couples reckoning with their dull lives.
Rotten: Keeping Up With the Joneses is as blandly generic as its title, a comedy that telegraphs every beat with a one-sentence description of the premise and continues the cinematic squandering of Zach Galifianakis since The Hangover.
Rotten: The kind of PG-13 studio comedy where a lot of people trip while swinging their elbows wide so they can knock down furniture as they fall.
I don't understand on how people didn't like this movie I thought that this movie was very funny all the way the best parts where with bobby lee #tigerbelly
If you need a laugh!
This movie worked for me, I didn't have high hopes for it, but it delivered some really funny lines, and supported me with lots of lauhing out loud in the cinema - it won't win any awards, but it's funny! ENJOY!
I have no idea how it only got 19% from Rotten Tomatoes (at least that's what it seems to be showing right now), but I thought it was hysterical. * there is one major plot point that they leave hanging, but it's a funny movie. The two main characters are just every day people ... until they get new neighbors.
