Academy Award winner Spencer Tracy stars with John Garfield, Frank Morgan and Hedy Lamarr in John Steinbeck's classic story of a hot-headed fisherman who inherits a pair of houses and his freeloader friends who decide to move in--Tortilla Flat. In a small California fishing town, Danny (Garfield) is dragged kicking and screaming into becoming responsible when he inherits the houses.
