About the Movie

Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Anthony Hopkins star in director Francis Ford Coppola's visually stunning, passionately seductive version of the classic Dracula legend. In Bram Stoker's Dracula, Coppola returns to the original source of the Dracula myth, and from that gothic romance, he creates a modern masterpiece. Gary Oldman's metamorphosis as Dracula who grows from old to young, from man to beast is nothing short of amazing. Winona Ryder brings equal intensity to the role of a young beauty who becomes the object of Dracula's devastating desire. Anthony Hopkins co-stars as the famed doctor who dares to believe in Dracula, and then dares to confront him. Opulent, dazzling and utterly irresistible, this is Dracula as you've never seen him. And once you've seen BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA, you'll never forget it.

Great Tribute to the orginal book

When the first couple of Dracula movies came out, they were good, and loyal to the orginal book. Soon after however, they began to get dumber and dumber to the point where Dracula went from a creature of mystery to a pale guy wearing a cape. This movie however, is loyal to the book, and adds a love element to it that almost is an improvement to the orignal book. First off, the cast is great, the costumes fit the time period, and adds scary and love elements to it. Anyone expecting this movie to be some sort of non-stop action horror flick, shouldnt buy this and look into buying 30 days of Night. Anyone looking for a movie with a great story, charcters, and effects should look into this movie. I highly recommend it.

Love Never Dies

Bram Stoker's Dracula is probably my favorite vampire film. The costumes, music, sets, and characters are great to look at and hear. Gary Oldman is the definitive Dracula, he manages to be sexy and scary at the same time. Winona Ryder, although some don't like her, I thought was a great choice for Mina. Anthony Hopkins, crazy as always and just as fun to watch. Keanu Reeves..let's not go there. Bram Stoker's Dracula is full of exciting suspense and erotic romance. It's Rated R for vampire violence and nudity.
