About the Movie

As a young boy, Kyle (Chaney Kley) claimed to have seen the tooth fairy. He also claimed she tried to kill him. Now over twelve years later, Kyle has left the town that never believed him. He has also left behind the two people who thought he was telling the truth, his childhood girlfriend Caitlin (Emma Caulfield) and her younger brother. And when evil again emerges in Darkness Falls, Kyle must return to do battle with the winged creature of doom he saw that night so many years ago. Because evil is back with a vengeance. And it's not leaving without Caitlin's brother.

Rotten: Announcing her presence with a phlegmy wheeze, the Fairy strikes swiftly and sometimes even scarily, thanks to Stan Winston's ace special effects. But the movie's premise ... telegraphs her appearances and eliminates suspense. – Carla Meyer, San Francisco Chronicle, Feb 23, 2003

Classic Fear-Factor

A great way to spend an hour and a half! Just rented this and it was well worth it! It plays on classic fear-of-the-dark terror inducement for its thrills, and combined with a Freddy Krueger-ish ethereal villian and chase scenes galore it's a breathless ride that doesn't let up from start to finish. Well acted and well shot, it's a fun way to get the endorphins streaming through your system! Definitely worth a rent, although I don't think a second viewing would deliver quite the same.

Awesome I love this movie!!! It's cool how they can turn a childs fairytale into a nightmare.

easily the best pg-13 rated horror movie ever
