A mobster from the old school, Lenny knows the right wheels to grease and has his hand on the throat of any bureaucrat, broker or gangster that matters. With one phone call, Lenny can make the red tape disappear. But as Lenny's right-hand man Archy (Mark Strong) tells him, London is ground zero for the changing times, with big-time mobsters from the East, hungry criminals from the streets, and everyone in-between, all vying to change the rules of commerce and crime. With millions up for grabs, all of London's criminal underworld conspires, colludes and collides with one another in an effort to take their cut. But as high rollers and petty criminals alike jockey for dominance, the true prize of one multi-million-dollar deal will fall into the hands of a junkie rock star (Toby Kebbell) - Lenny's stepson, presumed dead but very much alive.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Ritchie, who shoots and cuts everything in RocknRolla like an ad for a particularly greasy brand of fragrance for men, delivers the beatings and killings in his trademark atmosphere of morally weightless flash.
Rotten: As in other Ritchie films, RocknRolla attempts to depict a world of ever-expanding chaos. But the chaos is only in the way the story is told. The actual vision Ritchie offers is pedestrian and tame.
Fresh: This is the first of his cartoons to work better as a movie than as a fashion spread.
Fresh: Style is what RocknRolla is all about. And it has it in spades, from the cockney Pulp Fiction dialogue to the music-video editing of the rambling narrative.
A great return for Guy Ritchie to England's criminal underworld and all the drama and comedy that ensues there. A must see for any fan of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" or "Snatch". Not as heavily advertised as some of Ritchie's earlier works but still a great theatrical romp through the darker side of comedy.
Guy Ritchie IS BACK.
One of the best movies of the year. If I had to chose between this or the Dark Knight, I would chose this in the blink of an eye. The Dark Knight is the most overrated movie ever by the way. I've been dying for Guy Ritchie to make a film as good as Snatch or Lock, Stop and Two Smoking Barrells again. Revolver let me down big time. Gerard Butler is hysterical. The acting overall is amazing. The story is awesome. I am suprised there is no oscar talk about this. What suprised me even more was the fact it has a 7.5/10 on imdb it deserves more along the lines of an 8/10. This has to be one of the most underrated movies in the past year or two I have seen. Rocknrolla Won't let you down.
an amazing movie, really brings back great Guy Ritchie movies. it's funny, british, and hardcore. probably one of my favorite movies now.
