About the Movie
Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It is pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the spacecraft. They have no idea who they are, how long they've been asleep, or what their mission is. Corporal Bower (Ben Foster of 3:10 TO YUMA, X-MEN: THE LAST STAND) explores the spacecraft as Lt. Payton (Dennis Quaid of THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW) stays behind for guidance on a radio transmitter. As Bower ventures deeper and deeper into the ship, he soon discovers they are not alone. Slowly the spacecraft's shocking and deadly secrets come unraveled, and the astronauts realize that the survival of mankind hinges on their actions.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: According to the press notes, pandorum means "Orbital Dysfunctional Syndrome"; whatever that is, by the end of the movie I was convinced I had caught it.
Rotten: As always, Foster sells the hell out of his role but non-sci-fi fans may well themselves be driven mad long before the end.
Rotten: Lazily derivative.
Rotten: A grizzled Quaid and an intense Foster do their best to keep straight faces, but this is not an effort likely to figure prominently on their resumes.
I bought the movie not expecting much, but it was filled with surprises and different realities. I did not know what to expect to happen next, time flew bye while watching. Definately a good sci-fi movie where you do not know what is coming up. Great ending also! Acting was good and a good plot that you will not know about until the very end.
violent, cool, creepy sense of unknown, and best of all smart and twisted!!!!!!! overall a very impressive movie in many ways
Not that bad
This movie was okay, but way too overdone. I found myself fast forwarding through some parts. Some parts you just want to smack the director, "Like we get it." I agree with most people the monsters are cool and so is the idea, but thats it. Its like the never ending movie, theres always something. The director tried way too hard on this one. Its a movie I would rent, but never buy. I own this movie now and will probably never watch it again. I 'll give it 3 stars, but it really deserves 2 1/2.
